This smoothie is a protein rich and fruity morning breakfast to sip on the go. Its ideal balance of fiber and protein is the perfect boost to help you burn fat and have lasting energy all morning long. Blueberries are also a superfood high packed with nutrients that help cleanse your body. Serves 1.

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • ½ cup water
  • Two handfuls of ice, to taste

Preparation

Combine all ingredients, hold the ice, in a high-speed blender (I recommend the Ninja Ultima Blender) and puree until well-blended. Add a handful or two of ice, to taste, and pulse again until smoothly mixed. Pour in a chilled glass or portable beverage container to go.

To make the smoothie dairy free, use coconut yogurt instead of Greek yogurt. For a different twist, swap the blueberries with raspberries.
